Privacy
This page says what Southwest Florida Directory collects, why, where it is kept and how to have it removed. The site is run by [not set].
What the add form collects
When you send the form on the add page we store what you typed about the business or event, plus your name, your role at the business and your email address. We also keep a scrambled record of the sending address for a short time to limit abuse.
Why we collect it
Your email address is used to send one confirmation link, to tell you when your submission is published or declined, and for nothing else. Your name and role help us judge whether the person sending a correction speaks for the business.
What is published and what is not
The business or event details are published after we check them. Your name, your role and your email address are never published, never placed in the search index and never shared with the businesses listed.
Where it is kept and for how long
Submissions are stored in this site’s own database. A submission whose email address is not confirmed is deleted after 7 days. After a submission is approved or declined, the name, role and email address stored with it are erased after 90 days, unless the operator has marked the submission as a business contact it is working with, in which case they are kept as a business contact record until you ask for their removal.
Who else handles it
Emails are delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, which receives your email address and the text of the message in order to deliver it. The site is hosted by a hosting company, which stores the database.
Cookies and tracking
The public pages set no advertising or analytics cookies and run no scripts of their own. Search runs on this site’s server.
How to ask for removal or a copy
Write to [not set] from the address you used and say what you want removed or sent to you. To correct or remove a listing, use the form on the add page.
